Horizon Overdrive

Delete your data

Last updated 8 October 2026

Horizon Overdrive keeps your progress on your own device. Everything we hold about you can be deleted by you, straight away, without asking anyone. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Online leaderboard times — delete them in the game

If you use the online leaderboards, we hold your best times, an anonymous ID created for your copy of the game, and the link between that ID and your platform account (for example your Steam ID).

  1. Open SETTINGS ▸ PRIVACY.
  2. Choose ERASE MY ONLINE TIMES and confirm.
  3. To stay off the boards from then on, also switch ONLINE LEADERBOARDS off.

This deletes all your times and the link to your platform account straight away. What is left is a random sign-in ID with no times attached and no link to you. If you leave online leaderboards on, the game starts a new, separate record the next time it shows a leaderboard.

No longer have the game installed? Reinstall it, sign in with the same platform account, and follow the steps above. You do not need to play.

Test-branch performance reports

If you played a public test version of the game and agreed to send performance reports, those reports are linked only to a random ID for that installation — not to you, your platform account or your leaderboard ID. They are deleted automatically 90 days after the last report from that installation. You can stop sending them at any time in the game's settings.

Saves and cloud saves

Your progress, settings and liveries are files on your device; we never receive them. Uninstalling the game and deleting its save folder removes them. Cloud copies (for example Steam Cloud) are held by your platform and can be removed through its settings.
