Horizon Overdrive

Report or appeal

Last updated 8 October 2026

Use this page to report something you saw in Horizon Overdrive, to report illegal content, to appeal a decision we made about your content, or to complain about how we handle safety. Everything goes to the same inbox, contact.us@saristechnology.co.uk, and is read by a person. The rules everyone agrees to are in section 6 of the EULA.

If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999 in the UK, or your local emergency number.

Report a livery or name

For a car's livery or decals, a player's name, or anything else another player showed you that breaks the rules. Email a report with the subject Report: and tell us:

Report illegal content

If you believe something in the game is illegal, email an illegal content report with the subject Illegal content: and include:

  1. why you believe it is illegal;
  2. exactly where it is: the player's display name or the livery's name, where you saw it, and when;
  3. your name and email address (not needed if you are reporting child sexual abuse material);
  4. a statement that you believe, in good faith, that your report is accurate and complete.

Child sexual abuse material can also be reported directly to the Internet Watch Foundation at report.iwf.org.uk.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 working days, decide reports of illegal content within 2 days, and decide other reports within 7. We will tell you what we decided. If we take action against someone's content, we tell them too, but we never tell them who reported it.

Appeal a decision about your content

If we hid or removed something you made, or restricted your sharing, and you think we were wrong, email an appeal with the subject Appeal: within 6 months. Include the reference from the notice the game showed you, and tell us why you think the decision was wrong. A person looks at it again, and we aim to reply within 14 days. If we got it wrong, we restore your content and lift the restriction.

Complain about how we handle safety

If you are unhappy with how we dealt with a report, or with how we keep the game safe, email a complaint with the subject Complaint:. Ofcom, the UK's online safety regulator, also welcomes concerns about online services at ofcom.org.uk.
